Physical Therapy - Belmont University
About: Thank you for demonstrating an interest in the professional entry level Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Belmont University. The strength of our program lies with the exceptional faculty, equipment, and facilities. The curriculum and education are based on a "medical model approach" with the first year concentrating on the basic sciences, the second year concentrating on clinical sciences, and the third year concentrating on clinical sciences, social sciences, and clinical education. We offer the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, and are accredited by the Commission on Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
We have a rolling admissions policy and an early acceptance policy. An ideal class size of thirty-two students is selected each year to begin in the fall semester. Admissions is competitive and we recommend that you complete your application as early in the school year as possible, typically 12-15 months prior to the August in which you plan to begin your physical therapy education.
